Wedding hashtags: Yes or No?

TO HASHTAG OR NOT TO HASHTAG: THAT IS THE QUESTION

PROS:

*you can get to see your wedding photos right away

*guests can share your wedding photos

*it's a good way for those who could not make the wedding see photos

CONS:

*the photos can be unflattering and you will not be able to edit them before being shared

*those who are not tech savvy may not understand what a hashtag is and how to use it

*your personal photos are all over social media before you get a chance to see them

*those who were not invited to the wedding may be offended

*the hashtag might actually be used by someone else; they are not copyrighted

OK, are you still wanting to use a wedding hashtag? Here are some etiquette rules:

*never take a  pic of the bride before the wedding and post it

*during the ceremony, be kind and keep your phone down and turned off

*whatever you do, do not block the view of people sitting behind you; they want to see too

* if you see an unflattering pic of the bride or groom, it would be in poor taste to post it

*do not get in the way of the photographer; he/she is getting paid big bucks to take awesome pictures
